Create a new Vagrant VM that will allow working on all projects

With the API pulled out of the original site repository, the vagrant VMs
don't work to well.
I am looking at solutions for this and would like to have some feedback.
My first solution is to create a repo for the VM, then add the other repos
as submodules. I see 2 potential issues with that.
The first one is that some changes might be lost. According to the

the existing website, and this will become increasingly the case as we move

It seems to me that the "hot" events could use a re-think. It currently
orders by how many days removed we are from the event, modified by the
number of comments + the number attending. Since comments and number
attending tend to go up during/after the conference as feedback is left,
we end up with conferences that have been over for a while still showing

I'm currently making a stab at transitioning the Android app over to API
v2, and fixing any obvious bugs/issues as I go. My plan, at least at the
moment, is to get the app into a working state, so any feature additions,
design tweaks etc could come later.

Hi all,

Currently the issue tracker uses the label 'hackathon' to indicate issues that should be fairly easy to pick up and fix for a new contributor.

Jordi has posted an article on his use of the 'easy pick' label [1] which fulfils the same intent as our hackathon label. The ZF community intends to implement this idea too. What do people think about us following suit and renaming the 'hackathon' label to 'easy pick'?

I noticed (and a lot of others as well), that at the moment, joind.in
pretty much suffers from a lot of nasty, probably-easy-to-fix bugs
that really annoys users. Even though many people have lots of ideas
on new features, I think it would be a wise thing to actually try and
fix all the "knucklehead stuff" first.

It seems that the development on these have gone further a bit.
Nevertheless I tool the liberty to revise the JavaScript generated by

file. It's added in config.php.dist but if you have a working
installation already then you can just add this line to your

Up until now, we've had a test setup for working with the current API. It
made requests to a local instance and tested that way. This wouldn't work
for the rest of the site, though - we needed to write real unit tests for
the code. So, as committed this morning, there's a new "site" folder until

the possibility to place the info into a specific element identified
by its id.
Unfortunately it is placed after this element. I had a look at the
sources and spotted you use $(),after() to place the rendered info but

The issue tracker on github is very poor and doesn't allow us to set
statuses on issues, indicate ownership, or categorise issues. We've
experimented with labels and personally I don't feel we manage our

After creating the event ZendUncon, I got notification the event was
approved. When I looked, my name "Michelangelo van Dam" was appearing 2

3rd-party website which may want to use them:
- Please don't deliver 4 different JS files, especially not all from the
same host. Browsers drop to a single processing thread when they see a
