Cant get the web application to work with jdk1.6.0_15

After i updated jdk1.5.0_13 to jdk1.6.0_15 the web application doesent
work any more. I can convert files from the command line. Could
someone please advice what might be wrong.

I use Java 6 all the time. Could you explain what "doesn't work"
exactly? Do you get an error or what? I'm not a clairvoyant you know.

No theres no errors on the server side. It just returns a corrupt pdf.
Sometimes adobe acrobat reader cant open it and when it can open, some
texts are replaced with small black circles. It would seem that theres
some problem with the fonts but the only thing i did was that i
updated Java and then this problem appeared. Sorry about my unclear
message. This happens with ms office files.

I don't think corrupt PDFs can be due to the Java version. (You can
always try by switching back to Java 5 of course.)

It must be something with OOo, or possibly fonts installed on the
system as you mention. Try exporting to PDF manually in
OpenOffice.org, try the same conversion on a different machine, etc.
and see what results you get.
