I tried to add a logo to one of my clients, but it doesn't appear
anywhere when one of their users log in.
Is this feature going to be dropped?

To be honest, I've never even tried it. Where is it supposed to appear? Is it meant to replace your logo?

And the important question: why do you want to do that?

I think, yes.

In my case, I was just testing it and thought it would make the client
feel more at home, but since the URL is ours, it would just confuse him
I think.
The main reason for that feature to exist is probably for a hosted
solution, where you have one setup for multiple customers.

And not even then. We already have the ability to switch in a logo per 'company'. That is, per domain name in a multi-hosted environment. But to also do the same for each log user seems a bit pointless.

Unless I hear any other objections, I'll rip out that as part of the upcoming redesign work.

I agree.
