MoveOn.org, the 8-million-strong grassroots progressive organization, just launched an audacious campaign: Run Warren Run, a massive drive to urge Elizabeth Warren to run for president. Starting now, we’re building a crack team of brilliant organizers to build a grassroots brushfire that can’t be ignored.

This is not an easy job. You’ll be building the foundation of a presidential campaign for someone who says she’s not running for president. But this is an amazing job. A potentially world-changing job. Because this moment was made for Elizabeth Warren.

The defining fights of Warren’s life new define American politics: inequality, the corrupting power of big money, and a system rigged to benefit the powerful, leaving the middle class and working families behind. Warren only ran for the U.S. Senate after a grassroots “draft Warren” campaign showed her that she’d have the support she needed, and convinced her that joining the race was the best way for her to make a difference. Your job is to show her that the same thing is true today, on a larger stage. You will help us compile and track press coverage related to Run Warren Run and identify compelling content to share with our supporters and influential members of the media.

Here’s what you’ll do:

      Help compile and track press clips around key components of this campaign.

      Assist with press work and create press content around the campaign.

      Have the opportunity to engage in this exciting campaign in other ways.

Desired skills and experience:

      Early morning availability

      Passion for progressive causes and a strong desire to support Senator Warren’s bold vision and see her run for president;

      Demonstrated interest in news media and press work;

Location: Position can be based anywhere in the US.

Duration: Hiring immediately; interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. The goal is to draft Elizabeth Warren into the presidential race, and we’re looking for organizers who are in it to win it. Deadline to apply is Monday, December 22, 2014.

Compensation: $25 per hour, for up to 10 hours per week.

To Apply: Click here to submit your application, resume, and a cover letter. In the cover letter, which should be concise, please share specific examples of how you have organized and compiled research for complex projects. Deadline to apply is Monday, December 22, 2014.
