Responsibilities:  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leads research and data collection on a broad array of political priorities, including tracking and developing race snapshots, following critical legislation and summarizing current events and clips.
  • Drafts critical organizational documents, including political briefings, memos and reports for political surrogates and staff.
  • Assist in managing and updating political databases and tracking systems.
  • Assist in planning, organizing and managing special events.

 Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong interest and experience in politics, party building and/key Democratic Party issues. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses sound organizational skills, pays strict attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to review data from a variety of sources to produce political judgments.
  • Demonstrated competency in handling several tasks, simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and strong written skills.
  • Computer literacy is a must, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus at least two years of related work experience.
