Iowa or New Hampshire
MoveOn.org, the 8-million-strong grassroots progressive organization, just launched an audacious campaign: Run Warren Run, a massive drive to urge Elizabeth Warren to run for president. Starting now, we’re building a crack team of brilliant organizers to build a grassroots brushfire that can’t be ignored.
This is not an easy job. You’ll be building the foundation of a presidential campaign for someone who says she’s not running for president. But this is an amazing job. A potentially world-changing job. Because this moment was made for Elizabeth Warren.
The defining fights of Warren’s life new define American politics: inequality, the corrupting power of big money, and a system rigged to benefit the powerful, leaving the middle class and working families behind. Warren only ran for the U.S. Senate after a grassroots “draft Warren” campaign showed her that she’d have the support she needed, and convinced her that joining the race was the best way for her to make a difference. Your job is to show her that the same thing is true today, on a larger stage. You will build a grassroots army in Iowa or New Hampshire that shows Elizabeth Warren that if she runs, she could win—and that she’ll have a movement by her side.
