Regional Organizer (One position in Little Rock, AR and one position
in Tulsa, OK)

FUNCTION:
Responsible for building a grassroots activist network and building
coalitions with allied organizations and constituencies in Arkansas/
Eastern Oklahoma. Will recruit, train and mobilize volunteers to act
on behalf of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland in Arkansas/Eastern
Oklahoma. Work to carry out legislative, organizing and outreach
goals, and be a part of a dynamic team that builds a sustainable base
of support for Planned Parenthood of the Heartland.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Work with the Director of Advocacy and Organizing to develop and
execute an organizing plan for assigned region and constituencies.
2. Meet or exceed metric standards set for work in assigned regions
and constituencies.
3. Generate active support out of assigned region and constituencies.
4. Recruit, train and mobilize volunteers, including volunteer
leadership (Rapid Responders) and volunteer teams.
5. Increase the number of overall supporters in assigned region and
constituencies.
6. Develop, coordinate and direct activities for identifying,
educating, motivating and activating allied organizations and
constituencies.
7. Represent Planned Parenthood of the Heartland at events, internal
and external task forces, coalitions, workgroups and committees as
assigned.
8. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience necessary in political campaigns, non-profit organizations
or volunteer management. Bachelor's degree preferred.
