Top-tier Congressional race in the Philadelphia suburbs seeks a Finance Assistant. We are looking for ambitious, hard working individuals to join our team. Finance staff will execute a successful fundraising campaign to take back a House seat for Democrats in 2014.

Location: Philadelphia suburbs

Job Description

• Assist the Finance Director in implementing all aspects of finance plan
  
• Plan, development, and implement major fundraising events 
  
• Research prospective donors
  
• Maintain and update donor database
  
• Maintain contact lists for donors and organizations
  
• Develop working knowledge of campaign finance laws

Application Requirements

• Computer skills (Excel, Word) required
  
• Strong organizational skills required
  
• Strong communication skills required
  
• Previous finance experience desirable
  
• Experience with NGP Database software desirable
  
• Experience with online fundraising desirable
