The Dewey Square Group, a leading Democratic public affairs firm, is
looking for a paid intern for its Grassroots practice in our Santa Monica,
California office.  DSG is a national firm that coordinates statewide and
national grassroots and campaigns for private and public clients.

Interns work closely with Dewey’s Santa Monica staff and are an integral
part of our campaigns. Interns will help with outreach and organization for
several of our projects and will learn the details of creating coalitions
and running campaigns for corporate, nonprofit, and government clients.  

We're looking for a candidate to start at the beginning of August.  The
internship lasts through the end of the year with the possibility of
extension.  

*Work will include*:

-writing and research

-special event support

-issue tracking

-monitoring legislative hearings and other events

*Qualified candidates will be*:

-a recent graduate or student who can dedicate at least three days a week
and start at the beginning of August

-a skilled writer and experienced researcher

-interested in politics

-self-starting worker

-possess a minimum 3.0 GPA

-interested in Democratic politics and issues
