Send resumes to rec...@mindlance.com Description: Contract Electrical Engineer will be utilized to design and develop electrical assemblies utilized in a new patient monitor development project. Assemblies will include circuit boards, cables, harness, and flex assemblies. Full documentation will be required as part of the development activity. Duties include (but are not limited to): Development of specifications, design documentation, and verification procedures related to development activity. Digital / analog circuit design. Candidate must be able to work independently in the development of mixed signal circuits. Development and specification of cables used with and within the product. Work with sourcing and suppliers to achieve aggressive cost targets for electrical assemblies and the overall product. Testing designs to insure the product meets the specification and will operate reliably over the life of the product. Qualifications: 1.BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 2.7 years engineering experience in a related field 3.Demonstrated experience in low noise analog and digital circuit design. 4.Working knowledge of Mechanical and Thermal aspects of sub-system design and packaging 5.Experience in the use of Cadence schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Experience with simulation tools a plus.
