We are seeking an individual with experience working with the geriatric / elderly population to assist the facility with implementing new and exciting programs. The Life Enrichment Assistant will have diverse clerical and activities-related duties. Qualified individuals must have a heart for working with older adults, be organized and have good interpersonal/communication skills.sResponsibilities include: - Assist in the planning, coordination and evaluation of resident activities.
- Facilitate activity programs appropriate to meet physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional and recreational needs and interests of each individual. - Assist in the surveying and interviewing of residents to determine leisure interests, talents, and resident satisfaction.
- Assist with daily documentation in relation to residents involvement in activities.
Requirements The ideal candidate should be people oriented, reliable, creative, and professional.
