FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Macaé – Rio de Janeiro)

Educational Requirements:
• College degree in mechanical engineering. Desirable Specialization
in Projects.
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with rotation or reciprocating equipment,
especially in Turbo Compressors. Willingness and ability to travel up
to 70% of the time, sometimes transported by boat or helicopter over
open water, willingness to work on offshore platforms in harsh
environments, experience in the execution of engineering activities,
including compressor performance testing, vibration analysis,
rotodynamic analysis, root cause analysis, reliability-centered
maintenance studies, reciprocating compressor analysis and control
system, instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of API standards, experience in MS Project, fluency in the
English language
Position responsabilities and duties:
Perform field engineering projects while maintaining safety standards,
complete onsite audits for improved reliability, carry out onsite root
cause analysis on equipment failures, prepare proposals for
engineering activities, prepare and deliver project documentation and
progress reports for internal and external clients, make
recommendations based on audits and analysis to technical personnel
for repair and maintenance of equipment.
This position will receive international training in this field
