For this reason I am moving JetS3t's development home to BitBucket and
the Mercurial SCM: http://bitbucket.org/jmurty/jets3t
BitBucket is a relatively new resource and I haven't been using it for
long but I like very much what I have seen so far, and since Mercurial
has been my preferred version control tool for years it seemed silly
to continue putting up with the slow and creaky CVS.
I haven't found a good way -- or any way -- to migrate content from
the old java.net site to BitBucket so I will leave everything in place
for the time being. But the java.net site is now obsolete and it will
die sooner or later so please do not invest any more time in it.
Instead use the following resources from now on to work on, and
communicate about, the JetS3t source code:
* BitBucket Issue Tracker to report issues: http://bitbucket.org/jmurty/jets3t/issues/
* JetS3t Users Google Group to ask questions, to find answers from
the past, and to discuss the project in general: http://groups.google.com/group/jets3t-users
* the Mercurial source control management tool.
For anyone new to Mercurial there is a very short getting-started
guide here: http://bitbucket.org/jmurty/jets3t/wiki/Build_Instructions
Cheers,
James
