Hi.

I am trying to create a bug report on Jenkins, but to do that I need to create an account. When trying to sign up I get to a page that says it needs additional verification and asks me to contact jenkin...@googlegroups.com. I searched for the group and found a page where I can subscribe for it, so I figured that maybe I have to do that first. But I wonder if I really have to sign up in a developer group to be able to file a bug?

no, you just need to create your account on [1]. It will create an account for
Jira and wiki. See [2] for more details how to signed up.

It was there I went when trying to sign up. But on the next page there was only the message you can see on the image.
