FYI: Pretty amazing stove. It is the case that if the stove is started right that the wood feed can be vertical. No problem with that. Also, this is a small stove giving out lots of high temp heat. I wonder if we can somehow build this concept out of bricks? I wonder if the bricks would disintegrate under the high heat. I wonder if it would be practical to cook with this—you would have to slow down the combustion possibly by using a smaller diameter chimney pipe. If you had a pot support above the chimney, it would certainly cook. I also wonder if the chimney could be shortened to make the cooking surface at a more usable height i.e. outlet from the chimney would heat the pot. Any ideas to better harness this powerful flame.
