getting mailbox, folder ,account information using OWA (exchange 2003/2000)

Hi All,
In-case you are not sure what credentials to use with JEC, you can use OWA to get the missing information, in attached image you can see in the bottom line, circled with red color the account name, you can get it by placing the mouse on the event, or right-click on the event and select properties, this example shows getting the account name using an event, the same method can be applied to get the contacts folder name, by using the same method on a contact, or task folder name, by doing the same on a task.

just a quick question... my urls for objects are completely different
in exchange 2007 owa... does jec support 2007?

Hi Ben,
JEC supports exchange2007, but this technique can't be used on exchange2007.
In most cases knowing your account and user information is very easy, they are the same as your OWA username.
When using English Exchange server, the folder names are the standard ones and will work automatically (JEC will use its default folder values).
When using a non English 2007 exchange server, the folder names need to be URL encoded, you can use Google to do this quickly, simply search the value you need to convert, and get the URL encoded value in the search URL (look at the attached image).
