Hi Duncan,

I'm back to JDarkRoom, after having purchased a new, more usable
netbook as a writing companion to my Macs.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see an already good program has become a
great one during my absence. I particularly love to work with the F-
key commands shown in the lower line, as you did in the early days of
wordprocessing. Very reassuring for someone who lived that era.

I only miss one feature, and it is a way to exchange basic formatting,
like bold, underline or italics. I suspect this has been left out by
purpose, since the scope was just writing, and this is
accomplished very well during the first writing stages.

However, I wonder if things could remain as clean, even if allowing
for the above formatting to be exchanged with complete wordprocessors
(I use Nisus Writer and Scrivener, that save their files natively as
RTF).

Hi Paolo,

JDarkRoom now has Markdown support - is this enough for your purposes?

Thanks,

Duncan.
