ELB

[Tim Freeman]

I saw the AWS ELB code in the sandbox directory. Is this something
people don't use regularly or something that is going to change
drastically soon?

New to jclouds: apologies if this is clear from docs I didn't find.

Hi, Tim.

It's in sandbox as it isn't complete, but we have a new "labs" area
which is probably the best place for it. Labs is published to maven
where sandbox (deprecated) is not.

If you don't mind helping w/ Q/A, I can drag it into labs this weekend.

Thanks. I would not mind helping but there are two problems: one is that I'd like the health check operations (this doesn't actually look possible in the ELBClient interface) and two is that I need to be done ASAP.

I have just checked the Amazon ELB API docs and I don't think it's difficult to add support for health checks. How fast is "ASAP"?
