DEAR JB WORLD,

whatever you are currently up to and wherever you are currently doing it - I hope you are all doing very well!
We have received an invitation to take part in a very important event that will happen May 12th: Tribunal 12.

All information about this project can be found at www.tribunal12.org - some information is also provided in the email below.

I think that we CISV:ers could be really helpful to Tribunal 12 by organizing screenings in our cities. Many CISV chapters already have the equipment to organize a public screening, asking a local cafe if you can bring a computer and a projector should be quite easy. If you want to do more this is a perfect time to organize an educational workshop - how about inviting an NGO that works with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to come tell you more? Maybe even team up with an NGO and do a joint screening!

If you are interested in accepting the invitation below - all you need to do is go to www.tribunal12takeaction.org. You'll find everything you need right there (including flyers!).

If you have questions - don't hesitate to contact the producer Anneli Bäckman (who's contact information you'll find below).

Thanks for reading!

Much love,
Louise Dane

Subject: Screening of Tribunal 12

You are hereby invited to participate in an international manifestation for human rights by organising a screening of Tribunal 12!

On May 12th 2012, Tribunal 12 is taking place at Kulturhuset in Stockholm. In four artistically outlined sessions, Tribunal 12 will accuse Europe of continual human rights violations and the systematic mistreatment of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.

Tribunal 12 will be digitally recorded and a live broadcast will be made available through a HD Internet stream. We hope you will join us to help raise awareness and create opinion in your city – and in Europe!

We will provide a checklist and graphical kit for planning and marketing the event. You will be part of a large network in Europe and beyond! www.tribunal12takeaction.org

The live broadcasts can be projected onto big screens, or shown on TVs or computers. To see the broadcast of Tribunal 12 you need to have Adobe Flash, version 9 or later. It can be downloaded here: http://get.adobe.com/se/flashplayer/. We recommend an internet connection of at least 2 Mbps. In order to view HD broadcast, we recommend an internet connection of at least 7 Mbits / second. You can test your speed at www.speedtest.net

Tribunal 12 is organised by Shahrazad – Stories for Life in close collaboration with Kulturhuset in Stockholm, the Swedish Forum for Human Rights and ICORN – International Cities Of Refuge Network. Please visit the website for further information:
