jBASE 4.1 on Redhat - Apache Settup for jBASE reports?

Does anyone know how I achieve the following on jBASE:

Particularly the &HOLD& portion

ln -s /uvhome/\&HOLD\& reports
cd /uvhome/
chmod a+xr \&HOLD\&

The idea is to can publish raw text or html to the &HOLD& file.
