Hi All,

It seems to be a probelm with the linux version..  the linux installed is  redhat linux as4 .

    1)   uname -a  shows  i386  which means its 32 bit.
     2)   file  /temenos/jbase5/jsh   shows  its compiled in 64 bit (AMD) .
     3)   grep flags /proc/cpuinfo    shows some entries with  lm (long mode)

So if I install a 64 bit version of linux on the same machine it shoule work right ?.  Please correct me if im wrong.

Thanks and Regards,
Rashid

Yes – you will need 64 bit base system to use a 64 bit version of jBASE. You should ask TEMENOS which platforms are currently supported but Redhat generally is, even if it is older versions.
