Hi everyone
Just a quick note to remind you that the Buckhurst Hill jazz jam is back
again this Sunday from 8.30pm, at:
Buckhurst Hill Sports and Social Club
50 Queens Road
Buckhurst Hill
Essex
IG9 5BY
Full details are at
www.jazzjam.co.uk.

For those of you who couldn't get along last time: it was an absolutely
fantastic night, as a result of which we were immediately asked by the
management to make it a fortnightly event rather than monthly! And if
the jams continue to be well attended then we should be able to make it
a weekly event in the New Year. So please come along, and drag along
friends, family, and anyone you happen to pass on the street who looks
like they might appreciate good jazz. (In fact drag them along even if
they don't look like they would appreciate good jazz, but please ask
them to sit at the back and promise not to throw things during sax
solos). For those of you who have not yet performed there: please bring
your instrument or your vocal cords and just come and enjoy yourself, it
is a really friendly session. And even if you don't feel like playing or
singing there this week please just come along and enjoy the music!
And please, please, please spread the word!! Please forward this email
to anyone you can think of who might be interested. They don't have to
be musicians (even drummers are welcome) - please invite anyone who you
think would like to just come along to listen. The only requirement is
to clap ridiculously loudly, shout encouragement, and throw cash (large
denomination notes only please) if a solo is particularly good. Friends
can sign up to the mailing list by just sending a blank email to
jazzjam+...@googlegroups.com, or they can add themselves to the
list via the "contact us" section of the website -
www.jazzjam.co.uk.
You can make us feel loved by adding yourself as a friend on our MySpace
page -
www.myspace.com/jazzjamessex. You can also download and print
flyers from the website if you can think of any shops, venues, music
schools, houses of ill repute etc. where it might be worthwhile to put
these:

Many thanks
