How is everyone doing? The season has really changed here in Utah
this week--I walked into my office building this morning and froze. I
forgot my gloves. It is 32 degrees and windy.
I still try to walk everyday, but since I don't have my gloves, I will

Workshop routines

I will be doing a movement screening in a few weeks. Does anyone know
what the current workshop routines are?Will they be the same ones for
the workshop in January 2010?

Long time, no posts

I hate to see this page slide into oblivion...so, what's new?
I'm done racing and we're gearing up to ride the tandem from SF to
Santa Barbara in a week. Everything's a go but our kids can't house-
sit, and that's a problem re my plants. I have other resources but

How are you feeling? Is the dizziness going away? Hope things are
going better. I have had a few days to walk at lunch again. That has
been helpful. How is everyone else doing this week?

Oops! Wrong way!

Gained 2 lbs. last week. I had 3 professional functions that involved
food, and although I made healthy choices, and took small portions, I
didn't have the caloric output to support the input. )c: That, and
after a long, hot but not intense ride on Saturday I ate chips and

New month, new numbers

I woke up today, having taken most of yesterday off, and thought it
was Sunday. So I weighed in before heading downstairs for coffee.
Shock and awe! Dropped 2 more lbs.! Hope it holds for tomorrow, when
it really counts.
Every day I've gone over my daily points by 1-5 points, and I've
racked up 85 activity points. So since I still have weekly points... more »

New Stats

Mileage: 156 miles from 6/14 to 6/20, *all on my own bike.*
Weight: Down 2.2 lbs. to a weight I haven't seen in a year. That's 8
in 2 months, with 8 more to go.
I'm using a tube for upper body resistance work since my doctor told

New picture

Thanks to Shay, I got to upload the picture of my new shoe. I've only
run in them once (yesterday was my designated day but had to have a
day off) but they're amazingly comfortable. I'll be on them tomorrow
morning before my Board meeting, while it's still cool.

A couple milestones

I rode my bike on the road Fri., Sat. & Sun. My wrist is aching
tonight because today was hill training; the downhill portion put more
stress on my wrist than it is used to. Overall it's okay, although my
surgeon hasn't okayed it. He knows nothing of what I've done and what
I need to feel whole.... more »

Better this week

I forgot to weigh in yesterday, but it worked out ok. I lost the 0.5
pound I gained back last week.
It has been unusually rainy here in northern Utah for the last week
(off and on). Saturday I had a great day working out in the yard. I
