Mileage: 156 miles from 6/14 to 6/20, *all on my own bike.*
Weight: Down 2.2 lbs. to a weight I haven't seen in a year. That's 8
in 2 months, with 8 more to go.
I'm using a tube for upper body resistance work since my doctor told
me Wed. "no heavy lifting" for another month or so. Not because the
bone isn't healed, but because the muscles, tendons and ligaments are
weak, and could become damaged. So no push-ups for a while yet.
I feel really dialed in now and will be working hard to get race-fit
again.

I am very, very impressed. Way to go, Deborah! For me things are not going so well in the fitness department. Work is really interfering with my workouts and it only looks to get worse. Another of our attorneys is leaving at the end of the month and it will be some time before we can replace her. (This means three attorneys covering what had been the work of five)
Madeleine leaves tomorrow for a trip to Italy with her Dad, her BFF and her BFF's mom. I am dropping the kids off with my sister in Houston where they will spend the week since I have a jury trial in Centerville.
Anyway, I have not dared to look at a scale for several days and will not do so until I am back home after the trial.

It really does, Shay. I feel like myself again. With a titanium
upgrade. (c:
Chris is leaner than I've seen him in years. Now our weight + tandem
= 295. We should be *much* faster now that we have less weight to
pull around.

Glenn,
Time to move the treadmill to your office! It finally stopped raining
here, yesterday was a great walk during lunch. I only saw one snake
(my yard made up for that when I mowed the grass last night--several
snakes ran/slithered for cover) ugh.
Deborah, sounds like you are doing well. My biker friend here keeps
wanting me to start training. It's a big commitment of time. She is
annoyed her second trainer p**ped out on her this summer. Time for
me to get serious!
