long time Tele player over here since 1970 when I got my first Tele.
Yes I do ride motorcycles ....
i started out on mini bikes w lawnmower motors when I was a teen
got my first real motorcycle in the early 80's and went through a bunch of 650's 750's ..rode shovel heads for a while when I rode w a club...my current bike is a 76 GL 1000....jap scrap ...lol
I do love 2 wheels in any form including riding bicycles ..

Riding a Jap bike is bad enough so I have to congratulate you on at least not not wearing a Honda Motorcycle tee-shirt.
I get a kick out of the Jap bike manufactures now adding sexy women to their advertisements. I liked Honda better when they were going around saying “You meet the nicest people riding a Honda”. In other words, no good looking, Harley riding babes allowed.
As it is I haven’t ridden a Jap bike since I was fifteen. I’ve had my currenthrley for 22 years.

My whole life I have never truly made up my mind as to what means more to me riding my bike or playing music. Riding is easier and is like instant Nirvana for me me. Playing music requires a lot of work and soul searching but in the end may be more fulfilling but not by much.
I’ve had seven bikes over the years. My current 1988 (I’ve had it since 1990) Harley is the love of my life outside of my family and my country. When I die I am going to have them throw it in the hole behind me along with my Gibson L5.
No, I would hardly qualify as a R.U.B. No one in their right mind would want to have walked in my shoes early on in this life. Whatever success I have had I have worked like a dog for but that’s OK – I like dogs.
I’ve been riding a long time. I remember motorcycles when they and the people who rode them were dangerous. In those days you could sometimes ride all afternoon without seeing another rider and when you finally did (Honda riders didn’t count) see one coming the other way you knew, without meeting them, that the two of you were like brothers cause both of you were crazy enough to be out riding motorcycles. This was the days before disc brakes, helmets, decent riding gear or even half decent tires. You couldn’t buy factory made “distressed” leather jackets either. Also, in those days if you traveled far you had better bring a sleeping bag cause there wasn’t a hotel anywhere that would give you a room. If two of you were riding together in foreign territory someone would call the police.
Anyhow, I am glad you are participating here. You play well. I love that funk stuff you do. it’s really as good as anybody I can think of. I love a cat that goes from Funk to playing Over The Rainbow.
As far as I know the only other bike cat here is Juan Vega. So having you is a nice addition to the group. Lends the place some extra class.
BTW, I am just kidding with you. I generally don’t care what people ride. One of my best friends rides a Jap sportbike. He redeems himself by wearing a black leather jacket rather than one of those Power Ranger suits.
