Musicians, Friends, Loved Ones, and All....
You may not know Art as you receive this post....
but, you can know that Art D'Lugoff contributed to the world of music
in the grand way only Art could have done.
He touched more lives than we could imagine. We will keep you posted
on memorial information.

Ouch! Doc, when does it end ... never, I guess, we're never free from injury one day to the next -- accidents just seem to hind us -- and the older we get the more they find us around the corner ..::..
... at least it wasn't gun fire ...
.... me thinks it's natures' way of saying 'slow down.'

Hi all,

Just checking in as I am sort of back in circulation....

I finished my LONG series of 7 set (3 consecutive weekend days) gig a 400 mile drive away.

The last 2 weeks were challenging. I had slipped in the tub a few days before I drove to Phoenix from LA about 2 weeks ago and unknowingly fractured my L1 vertebra (severe fracture, they called it on the report).

Wow, wishing you all the best.

I know ALL about back pain! Had a whole PA stack fall on me when I was 15 years old, I'll spare you the details, but it has meant that I have suffered back pain on and off all my life. I have to avoid lifting or else my back will "go out" (yea, and the rest of the band hate you as can't help lift any equipment!). So I know how debilatating it is overall.

I have pretty much everything I need [ but not everything I'd like ]
to make acceptable sounding recordings. Like the guitar it's more
about ears than gear to a certain extent. But I'd still like to wrap
my ears around one of those 12 hundred dollar Apogee interfaces from
the Rosetta series with the soft knee limiting and the proprietary

Turner Classic is showing a Johnny Mercer special, made by Clint Eastwood. It was on last night, but is sure to repeat. Lots of great music.
It ends with Moon River.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to a "tablet" PC which is a very real thing. It is essentially a computer that only encompasses the size of a monitor (all different sizes), which is normally the size of an 8x11 US standard piece of paper, and has a touchscreen.

Works on iPod Touch too. Great for transposing last minuite for the singer who's not brought sheets for the band !
Chords only, no heads, but it's great ! Does the same job a Vol 1 & 2 of the Pocket Changes.
On a Tablet with a bigger screen it would be superb.
