Dear friends, Bella Luna is done as far as I know. I'll find another place and let you all know. It was a good run there and we'll see what happens. Thanks for your wonderful support all these years. Jack

Sorry to hear the Bella Luna gig is over. We enjoyed hearing you play
there when we were in NY. By way of coincidence one of my long time
saxophone friends lost his weekly gig last month. I hope you can
find another place, so we can stop by when we visit NY.

I'm sorry to hear about your gig, Jack. It is the same all over. The
support for live jazz is at a low point. The Twin Cities "premier jazz
club" regularly hosts R+B, blues, and other styles to bring in revenue.
I have gone to playing solo and in duos and trios to try to make gigging
a viable option.
All my best to you, Jack. You are truly deserving.
Peace,
Scott

Now that's a real pity! Very sorry to hear that:( At least I have a good memory of a great evening there. Jack: hope you land on your feet.

Likewise, sorry to hear that, what appeared to have been a regular jazz locale, is now gone.

Jack played there for seven years or maybe eight. An incredibly long jazz gig. Better yet is just around the corner from his home. It’s a lovely place as well.
You guys that lived around New York City and didn’t go to any of these shows just kill me. Most of the people on this site that I know of who went to see him play were traveling to New York.
