These are some of the "pop" songs I play that can be very helpful upon social occasions. Would you please add those you like to play. Thanks, Jim
Sunny
Feel Like Makin' Love
Comin' Home Baby
Stormy
Watermelon Man
Both Sides Now
Little Wing
Killing Me Softly
You Are the Sunshine of my Life
Overjoyed
To Love Somebody
Dock of the Bay
This Masquerade
Beatles (Here There and Everywhere, Yesterday, And I Love Her...more you like, please?)
Hank Williams tunes! Swing, baby...
San Antonio Rose (Western swing works great)
Unchain my Heart (Ray Charles!)
Blues tunes (which ones?)

light and fun songs that the collective ear might hear.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim, I play most of these myself. When I'm playing solo guitar I also
add some Sting (Fragile, Walking On The Moon, Roxanne), some James Taylor
(Don't Want To Be Lonely, Smiling Face, Shower The People), some Norah
Jones (Come Away With Me, Don't Know Why) as well as the more standard
fare.

Scott,
Thanks for your suggestions. I am always looking for songs (:)
here is another fine one:
The Sound of Silence, (Rhymin' Simon)

Nomination for best song lyric in the soulful category:
"The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls and tenement halls."
