Imagine a guy who's never eaten a good hamburger, finally gets to eat one. He says WOW!!!......this is great! what do you call this thing? Somebody says "that's a Hamburger man!" The guy says "I'll tell you one thing", I'm going to be eating a lot of these!!"
Now every time the guy hears or thinks the word "Hamburger" the memory of the taste, its texture, and aroma manifests itself in his mouth. He wants to keep re experiencing the event.
He runs into another guy who's also NEVER had a hamburger. He says to the guy, WOW!!!......man, I just had my first hamburger! The guy he's talking to says.......yeah? what in the Hell is that??
The guy who's never tasted a hamburger thinks to himself......."let's see, a burger is probably a middle class dude from Germany...I think. If he's a ham, he's probably one of those assholes who always has to call attention to himself. The guy thinks to himself....... this idiot has just HAD his first hamburger? he must be Gay or Bisexual or something. Hmmmm.... why is he looking at me like that.
To make a long story short, I try to teach sound first, and labels second.
