Astir IT is working on a proposal for its client to build a source maintenance management system. We are looking for a resource to aid us in building and managing this project.

ESRI (ArcGIS Server) JavaScript Developer/SAP/MMIS Specialist

Duration: 4 months
Location: NY/NJ
Starting in December 2009
The resource should

·        Have experience in ESRI JavaScript development and ESRI /SAP integration. The Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) is an SAP application

·        Be a subject matter expert in ESRI/SAP integration and ArcGIS Server Development

·     Be able to propose addressing all of the scope of work requirements and includes strategies for developing the ArcGIS Server service integrated into the MMIS based on best practices for maintenance management operations.

 Project Information:

The project includes three phases:

1.      Development of map document(s) (TSD will provide asset, equipment and functional location data layers).
2.      Integration of SAP/MMIS with ESRI
3.      Create/Customize ArcGIS Server Service(s) and Applications

The ESRI JavaScript Developer/SAP Specialist will work with the Technology Services Department (TSD) and HCL-Axon to build map documents, integrate ESRI and SAP and develop ArcGIS Server mapping applications that will be integrated with HCL-Axon’s SAP/MMIS composite application for maintenance management.  The mapping application will be integrated with SAP/MMIS to display maintenance work orders and notifications and include functionality to perform spatial queries, display capabilities and data editing. 

Current Setup:
 
ESRI environment on a production, staging and development server environment that includes:
ArcInfo 9.3 licenses
ArcGIS Server Advanced Enterprise
ArcGIS Tracking Analyst
ArcGIS Spatial Analyst
ArcGIS Network Analyst
ArcGIS Publisher
ArcGIS Data Interoperability

The spatial data layers are stored in ArcSDE with a MSSQL 2008 database and the SAP database is Oracle.

Client will be responsible for creating/providing the spatial data (asset, equipment and functional locations).  The work orders and notifications will be generated from SAP/MMIS and located based on an asset, equipment or functional location ID.

A detailed requirements document shall be provided to all shortlisted candidates.
