Subject: PhoenixGTUG Meeting announcement - "Chrome - the browser, the web store, and so much more"
Happy New Year from the Phoenix GTUG crew.  It is a new year, and we
are planning some great things.  We are resuming a normal schedule of
1 meeting a month (on the 3rd Wed of every month) this month.

** Meeting Info **

Next Meeting:
Wed, Jan 19, 2011
"Chrome - the browser, the web store, and so much more"

We'll introduce the Chrome OS, and dig deep into a few topics.

Time and attention permitting, we'll look at:
- What is Chrome OS
- How to write applications for Chrome OS
- Intricacies of the Chrome Browser
- Publishing apps to the Chrome Webstore
- Writing plugins for the browser

Luis Montes has written a whiteboard app which is specifically
designed to function well within the Chrome universe.  He will show
exactly what it took to write the app, highlighting specific areas of
interest and how they relate to the Chrome OS.  He will then describe
the steps to publish and sell the app in the Chrome Webstore.

Luis will have a CR48 Laptop, which is the Google designed laptop,
created to highlight their OS>  It will be available to check out in
depth.

Time permitting, Luis will give an overview of writing plug-ins for
the Chrome browser.

Luis Montes is a professional software developer with experience
architecting and developing large-scale web applications.

Please plan on attending.  The meeting info is located on our website:
http://phoenix.gtugs.org
