Yes I have been tracking this. I am a recent user of GWT ext - as I
work on the Drools project, I have been using it for the web tooling:

and it has been awesome. but the licence change has caused some
heartache. If a fork happens - do we go with it, or, do we stay with
ext (there is ExtGWT now) and make the UI components of our stuff GPL?
GPL is generally not that comfortable for people as a library (but
this is just a specific application, not the whole library which is a
totally separate component).

Would be interested in others viewpoints.

The thing I really liked about extjs etc is that it makes it really
really easy to look good, and do consistent "productivity" type user
interfaces, that scale nicely with complexity. Its not really the same
as any other library.
