Posse Group,
It seems that voice recognition and response capabilities in devices
was a main theme at the CES show this year. What is the state of the
JSAPI (Java Speech API)? This API has been around for a long time. Is
any new work being done on it? Is anyone currently doing any voice
recognition/response work with their Java applications. It seems to me
that this area would be a good opportunity for Java as a brand since
it could accelerate the adoption of voice capabilities on multiple
platforms and devices. Is there any work being done in this area as
part of JavaFX and Java 7?
