I am a bit behind listening on episodes, but Dick asked for feedback on
whether anyone else thought the chipmunks were funny. I was listening
to the podcast driving home in the dark after a long hard day, which may
have affected my state of mind, but I had tears of laughter in my eyes,
making driving bordering on the dangerous with bright headlines of
on-coming cars. No chipmunks down here in Australia, but lots of
rabbits that often freeze in dazzling headlights. So please, no more
chipmunks. I don't want to die of laughter.

Yep, agree completely. I was listening on the bus, on my way into
work in the morning. I, too, ended up laughing so hard there were
tears in my eyes. I got a seat to myself, 'cause people thought I was
nuts...

Also agreed - not that I want them back, but it was amusing and made for an entertaining drive home (even if I almost spilt/spat out my coffee in laughter).
As someone else also mentioned - it was fun still being able to tell who was who based on language and vocal mannerisms.

I like the chipmunks as well as the improv sound effects :-) The whip
sounds really funny at hi-speed. I listen at work and totally lost it
right here in my cube when that came on.
