Hi,

I've been working in the past with Nagios but lately, I was wondering
if there is a
similar (pure) Java application for that.
Does anyone is working in production with something like that?

Thanks,
Ido

Dear Ido,
I'm curious why you want a pure Java solution?

I used Zabbix in the past, I even wrote Zapcat, the Zabbix/JMX bridge.
Currently I am working Java-monitor which integrates a forum and a
monitoring tool (http://java-monitor.com/forum/livedemo.php).

The "data collection engine" underneath Hyperic is SIGAR (http://
www.hyperic.com/products/sigar.html) which is dual-licensed under GPL
and a commercial license. It has a Java API, so it may be worth a try
for you.
