Unfortunately, right now, java geomodel is only compatible with JDO and JPA.

If you have some time to contribute and want to improve java geomodel, please let me know, I'll add you in the contributors list.

 I've created a class which use the low level appengine API, probably you can use that too (http://code.google.com/p/javageomodel/issues/detail?id=21&can=1 ) or you can easily extend it with some objectify related API.
