Javascript proxies

I'd like to implement a remote javascript debugging by creating
proxies in javascript that points to original objects in Java.
I think that one way to achieve that is modify some compiler parts to
change javascript generated classes, in this new compilation mode it
will put some code inside each method to invoke the server with
received parameters and then return the server result (like RPC).
How difficult is this modification?
Is there another way to do that?
