Beware, freshly caught marine fish especially Butterfly fish, have a very
slim chance of survival in the home marine aquarium.

Butterfly fish rely on live coral for food and are sensitive to 0.5deg.C.
Butterfly need to be accliamatised in the sea even then the survival rate is
about 10%

The spotted puffer is often a beginner's horror. Frighten this fish and it
releases a toxin which will kill all the fish in the aquariun including
itself !

Leave our dwindling marine resources in the sea. Killing so many for the
sake of keeping a few in an aquarium is not a smart move.

The Moorish idol is amongst the most difficult of marine fish to keep. It
will not adapt to small aquariums especially without specialised live
corals. If it survives the initial shock, it will probably starve to death.

Take up SCUBA diving and see the marine environment in all it's glory
without destroying it.
