Subject: Functional branch
Any thoughts on whether or not to merge the functional branch back into
the trunk? Pro is that we get the improvements in functions, get rid of
$, and get modules. Con is that we still did not organize Jaql's builtin
functions into modules; this would be a good opportunity to do so.

This change is backwards compatible with current queries so it seems
beneficial to merge back in at this point. It would be nice to figure out a
way to maintain backwards compatibility for the proposed builtin modules but
we may not get there-- lets make a separate branch for this purpose.

Thanks!

Vuk
