Greetings JACT,
This Friday, Feburary 22nd, we will be watching Steamboy as a Mix Meeting. Also, this Saturday, Feburary 23rd, we will have this weekly meeting at ASLC 101D from 7:00-10:00 PM! The feature this week will be Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita episodes 1-3 and episode 6 of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Control: The Money and Soul of Possibility, and Nichijou! Please show up early so you don't get lost and remember! Also, JACT sells Ramune, Hello Panda, Pocky! If you would like to buy some of these delicious goods, please bring money! We will be selling raffle tickets for one dollar too in case you are feeling lucky and want to try to get these yummy treats for a lower price!

This Friday, Feburary 22nd, we will be watching Steamboy at Mixed Theater A starting at 7:00 PM! Please, show up early so we can start on time and in case you are not sure where exactly the theater is; we will be standing outside so you can see us. Plot Summary: Ray is a young inventor living in the U.K. in the middle of the 19th century. Shortly before the first ever Great Exhibition, a marvelous invention called the "Steam Ball," behind which a menacing power is hidden, arrives at his door from his grandfather Lloid in the U.S. Meanwhile the nefarious O'Hara Foundation has sent men to aquire the Steam Ball so that they can use its power towards their own illicit ends.

Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita
Plot Summary: It has been several centuries since human population has declined. Food has become harder to find and what little sources the humans have are considered highly valuable. The most prosperous species on the Earth are "Fairies", 10 cm tall creatures with high intelligence and a great love for sweets. A nameless girl, the main character, became a UN arbitrator between the humans and the fairies and had returned to her hometown to help her grandfather. One day, the village is sent some strange products made by a company called FairyCo. Since the villagers are wary of using the products, the girl, her grandfather, and a nameless boy decide to go to the factory to find out about the mysterious products and who is behind making them.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
Plot Summary: High school freshman Yūta Togashi was once a "chūnibyō patient" i.e. an overly self-conscious middle schooler. He wants to bury this embarrassing past and begins a new life in high school—unsuccessfully. His classmate Rikka Takanashi, a "current" chūnibyō patient, has found traces of residual symptoms on him and used the fact to force Togashi "making a contract" with her.

Plot Summary: The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved, and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant. Kimimaro is a scholarship student whose only dream is to avoid all this and live a stable life as a civil servant. One day, however, he meets a man who offers him the chance to make money fast. From then on Kimimaro is drawn into a mysterious realm known as "The Financial District," where people engage in supernatural battles for the possibility of money.
Nichijou
Plot Summary: The ordinary life of the peculiar students from class 1-Q and their odd acquaintances. While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot's arm hide a rollcake. However there are still normal stories, like making a card castle or taking a test you didn't study for.
