Hey Guys - This morning a coworker came into my office telling me about a cyclist he ran upon on Old Humboldt Rd. Early this morning he came upon someone riding with only two reflective strips on his back (no tail light). In the dark and misting rain he didn't see him until 10-ft away. He was obviously shaken over the close call, as I'm sure was the cyclist. Of course I have no idea who this was or if he will ever read this message. This probably sounds obvious to most everyone but this is just proof that we all have to take special care this time of year when the days are short to make sure you have adequate lighting to be seen. Just as important, make sure your lights are working properly. Both Bicycle City and Outdoors Inc. have a great supply of blinking lights and can help you get those installed in the proper position to be seen.
See you on the road.
Randy
