Patachitra is a tradition that dates back to pre

bio-scopes and TVs where art communities

took it upon themselves to be a content

delivery network. It is a performing art where

the artist(s) construct a narrative in song

and then do elaborate scrolls with visuals.

They probably went door to door with

these sitcoms and the happy houses

appreciated this with food or a kanike.

Probir is here from West Bengal.
