India Untouched Screening, Open Education, Solar Sound

Just a quick reminder about some of the events we have
coming up this week at Jaaga.
Tomorrow evening March 6 | 6:30pm
We will be screening 'India Untouched' a documentary
about the practice of 'untouchability' in modern India.
The director Stalin Padma will be here for a short discussion

Wednesday evening March 7 | 7pm
TEDxDoubleRd will host a small show showcase of
talks about open education. Open education is about sharing, reducing
barriers and increasing
access in education. It includes free and open access to platforms,
tools and resources in education (such as learning materials, course
materials, videos of lectures, assessment tools, research, study
groups, textbooks, etc.). Open education seeks to create a world in
which the desire to learn is fully met by the opportunity to do so,
where everyone, everywhere is able to access affordable, educationally
and culturally appropriate opportunities to gain whatever knowledge or

The Solar Sound Project :
In partnership with Swissnex: the current Jaaga residents Eric Boros
& Carles Cédric
will be showing off their 'Solar Sound System'. This evening will be
the culmination of their
work with a dj session and performance by the artists.
