T24: Crystal Reports connectivity with T24 - jbase

HI All,

 

I am intested in extracting reports from T24 through crystal reports, can any one please guide me how can T24 be connected to crystal reports for this purpose. Database at back end is jbase, also let me know can it be done for Oracle at back end.

I think you would be best served going through the TEMENOS help desk for this. You can set up interfaces like jDP but exposing the tables and so on to ODBC is another matter and requires vendor support. For the Oracle back end you are probably (not definitely though) using the XML driver for Oracle and again you will need TEMENOS assistance.

It is pretty easy to setup crystal reports with Globus Desktop, you just tell me what version of Desktop and T24 are you using, I will send the document accordingly.

 

No need to use either .net or create ODBC, FYI desktop comes with a dll tempcrystal.dll which takes care of the requirement of pulling the data from output of any enquiry to crystal reports where you can add additional reporting functionalities.

we are using the following versions of T24 and Globus Desktop, Please Send document accordingly to setup Cystal Reports Setup.

 

T24 - Release 8

Globus Desktop 1.4

Operating System : AIX-5L

Make sure that you have MS-Access and Crystal reports 8.5 installed on your workstataion (it will have some problems with crystal report 9 and advanced versions).
