Greetings All.

I just wanted to introduce myself. I recently aquired a J/92 out of
the Chicago area, that will be transported to its new home in Detroit,
MI shortly.

I have found this board to be a terrific resource as I've begun to
educate myself on the boat.

I look forward to becoming an active member of the J/92 community and
learning to effectively sail the boat.

Cheers,

jon

Hi Jon,

Welcome to J/92 land! You will really enjoy sailing the boat.

How do you plan to use it? Personally, I recommend racing it
singlehanded to Hawaii - it beats sniffin' burlap!

Have fun,
Bob J.

Thanks for the welcomes. I plan to use the boat primarily in Lake St
Clair for PHRF racing, some long distance stuff. I plan to run a full
crew most of the time, and do some doublehanded stuff as well.
Unfortunately, Hawaii is a long sail from Detroit..

Is Portrush any closer? You are more than welcome to come and sail here.
