Just a reminder -- the Howard C. Hoxsie regatta is this Saturday.  We've
got a few entries in hand, but I know there are more of you out there who
are planning on coming.  If you could send in your entries (or at least
drop an email to r...@hyc.org), that will help us plan how much beer and
munchies we need to put out for the party after the race.

Blondie won't be participating due to the Beneteau 36.7 northeast championships in Norwalk this weekend, but I have 2 crew interested in racing, a bowman/trimmer (male 215 lbs) and #4/5 (female 120 lbs).  They both plan to post on google but they have sailed with me & the fleet on Monday and occasional Wed nights.

Looks like we've got about 10 boats expected tomorrow, so it should be
a good regatta.  Sailing instructions have been posted to the HYC web
site (http://hyc.org/hoxsie).

The weather forecast isn't wonderful, so our plan is to get going
right at 12:30, to make sure we some races in.  If there's any need
for a postponement, the race committee will broadcast their intentions
on VHF-71.

And, of course, party back at the club, rain or shine.
