Preliminary NOR for the 2010 J/22 Midwinters North~ Annapolis, MD

Hi J/22 Fans;

 

Annapolis J/22 Fleet 19 and Severn Sailing Association will host the

2010 Sail1Design J/22 Midwinters North.

I hope we can attract a great turn-out for this event. There is an announcement on Sail1Design, and in the article you can post crew needed or crew available posts if you need help or are looking for a ride. See link below.

 

We are looking for one or two more sponsors for the event if you all know anyone who might be interested.

 

If you have any questions, or are planning to sail, please contact me so I can start building the entries list. We will work hard to attract boats to come from out of town and try to get a lot more than 20 boats in the event.

Before the bell, we already have at least 5 boats entered….

 

If you enter this event before the end of November, you will receive a prize at the regatta upon arrival!!

HI

What's in a name. Well, apparently "Midwinters" is not an allowable
term to use per the J/22 Class.
So, we are re-naming the regatta to the J/22 Winter East Coast
Championship.

I am happy to say that both Quantum Sail Design Group and Yale Cordage
called to offer sponsorship for the event... so things are looking
great on that front.

PLEASE spread the word and let me know what I can to do promote the
event and help get as many J22's out on the water as possible.
