Hi Kate

The code in SNAP for reslicing volumes orthogonally is IRISSlicer. It takes as input a 3D image and returns 2D slices along each coordinate axis. As far as saving data back into DICOM, you would have to use ITK filters for that.

Hi Snap users,

I have a series of dicom images. I want to reslice the volume along another plane. Suppose my input is obtained axially, I now want oblique slices. I think the first step is understanding how SNAP displays an input volume in all 3 planes(axial, coronal, sagittal). What is the code written in SNAP for doing that? Also, in order to do that what all changes are made to the image and its header/dicom tags? If somebody could help me there, I guess I'll be able to figure out what to change to obtain oblique slices.......

Thanks a lot people

Cheers
