  Couldn&#39;t agree more - it&#39;s almost painful having downgraded broadband &lt;br&gt; speed (moved back to &#39;the rock&#39; last year - had gotten used to &lt;br&gt; mainland speeds!). &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;It&#39;s also a key piece of infrastructure, and is something which helps &lt;br&gt; to shape public opinion and beliefs - think about rich content et al.
