Mid-1 has past, now better turn your attention to what lies ahead. There
are students among you who took pretty good marks and question 2 was quite
straight forward. Don't expect to be spoon fed at this level.

if we are taught how to convert a decimal number to hexadeciml we should
also be taught how to convert a negative one ...it was a cmplete methd
which was neither taught nor even a sample questn was in assignmnt

It is not school where each and everything is taught by teacher. Somethings
are left for the students to explore, to figure out. You people knew how to
convert a negative number into binary once you get binary form you can
easily convert it into hexadecimal. You know all the tools just focus how
to use them.

oi oi! calm down fellas! its obvious that in university we have to learn a lot of things all by ourselves. or ye b sb ko pta hai k exams me unseen questions atay hain. so i think we should be ready for everything even if we are not taught something we should consider the possibility that it might be asked in the exam. so try different experiments with something that you are taught in the class and if you cant figure it out, ask the teachers before exams. its not like they are gonna refuse to help!
